Concept of Human Resource Management
Every organization in the world has four major types of resources viz., human, financial, physical, and informational. All other resources, except human resources (people/human beings), Are non-living resources. The only living resources in an organization is people. Moreover, the productivity of all other resources is dependent on the productivity of human resources. Managers can acquire, replace, or change other resources as per other desires. But this is not possible in the case of human resources. Managers need to educate, train, and motivate them. Whenever there is action from management, there is counter-reaction from the employee’s side. On the one hand, it is the most difficult type of resource to manage but on the other hand, it is the only resource in an organization that appreciates in value. If managed properly.
